The band had a head drum created with a Fast Times at Ridgemont High inspiration. Logos were needed for event promotion and needed the logo in EPS form. I recreated the logo.
Re-created the logos for three bands. Logos were needed for the web, print and promotions.
COMPLETED FROM 2005 to 2006
This was a project for my student employment position in the College of Technology and Applied Sciences Dean’s Office. The purpose of the mailer was to send information to alumni and allow them to detach a card which could be returned. The returned card served as a way to to compile alumni contact information and to allow the alumni to collect a commemorative pin. The campus was in the process of a name change, so this also served to announce the new campus name to the alumni.
This project was created in Indesign and went to pre-flight (checked for CMYK accuracy, file linking, and fonts) to ensure printing accuracy. Communication with the on-campus printer was essential to know the requirement needed for a successful print.
PROJECT COMPLETED: 12/05

This is was in InDesign project, with the purpose of creating a themed university affiliated poster for print.
The Engineering Fraternity called Theta Tau, which has a chapter at ASU was chosen. Theta Tau has a semester recruiting week to attract new members. The purpose of this poster was to create a poster that could be reused or used for multiple semesters.
Stock photography was used to create the inner images. Some of the elements were created in illustrator to create vector graphics for improved printing performance. All images, graphics, and colors were specified for CMYK.
PROJECT COMPLETED: 11/23/05: PDF Version

This was a design project to redesign an existing magazine and it was to be completed in Photoshop, not in Indesign.
The magazine chosen was for Theta Tau, and is sent out every semester. The original cover was all dark red with gold text on it. This was my take on updating the magazine. Stock photography was used in this update.
All pre-flighting, and color checking for RGB to CMYK conversion were requirements for this project.
PROJECT COMPLETED: 11/05/05: PDF VERSION
This is a PDF project that contains different types of media elements which was created for my Digital Media Workflow course. Meaning that embedded in the PDF are different sounds, links to websites, and even a video. I had lots of fun making this, and problably went overboard.
The purpose of the project was to create an informational PDF. The information could be real or fictional. Since I helped to make some products for my favorite band, The Chadwicks, I decided to use the calendars as my promotional and informational pieces.
I used an Indesign project from a previous class (Typography & Color) for a different project to create the base PDF, then added different media elements.
HIGHLY suggest downloading and then opening, as the PDF contains a video.

PROJECT COMPLETED: 3/23/05

This is a PDF of an Indesign project for my Indesign course. The purpose of the project was to use our knowledge of Typography and Color. The main idea was to create a “sell sheet” for a product, which could be fictional or real. If the project were to be printed, it would be a one page two-sided slick.
I chose to promote some Chadwicks calendars I made for 2005. The calendars contain photos that I’ve taken over the last few years. They are sold through a company called CafePress.com, but I designed the different image areas for each month.

PROJECT COMPLETED: 3/23/05

These projects were for The Chadwicks, a local AZ cover band. Graphics and images were created for merchandise. All graphics and designs were taken or created for each project. The actual logo was recreated in Illustrator, so that it could be used as a vector graphic, to keep all reproductions crisp and clean. A 12 month custom calendar was used, where I took the photos from the previous year.
PROJECT COMPLETED: Throughout 2004/2005
This was the final project for my Commercial Photography course. The project purpose was to create a Catalog Sheet. We had to create a company that sold some sort of product. My team chose a collectibles theme. For this project, I helped to create the main company/projectidea. Also, helped to formulate ideas on the background set and helped to create the set. I helped to set up lighting and also helped take the images. The actual layout of the page was created in InDesign, which at that point in time I did not know how to use. So, I mainly voiced my opinions when it came to the final page layout.
My team member was: John Radavich
PROJECT COMPLETED: 12/04
This project was for my Commercial Photography course. The purpose was to create a set of “products” to photograph in a studio setting.
For this project the set, and the lighting of the set was important. After shooting, we turned the images into CMYK and they were saved at 300 DPI. The image below is a low-res image of the final.
PROJECT COMPLETED: 11/04
For my Creative Design course, our team was directed to come up with a creative solution for displaying art. The Graphical Information Technology club has an art show every semester, where art from students are displayed. Our team was to figure out an aesthetically pleasing, economical, mobile structure. The project was mainly to come up with a plan, but my lovely team went one step farther than that and came up with an actual prototype.
PROJECT COMPLETED: 12/4

This is an diagram I made in Illustrator, based on the ideas of the team.
This is an fantastic animated gif that demonstrates our design as it might appear in the ASU East Student Union. This was created by Micheal Zaletel.
